Types of Railings

Grab Railings can have posts to secure to mounting surfaces but lack infill like guard railings. Grab railings can be any where from 30”-36” tall depending on their use and location.

Guard Railings have infill and act as a safety feature on things like decks or staircases. The infill can be vertical or horizontal pickets, cable, or plate. Open spaces between cables, pickets or plates must be less than 4”. Guard railing height depends on location and preference but can be 34”-42”.

Cable Railings

Straight forward, clean and cost effective option for interior and exterior uses. Material options include stainless steel, aluminum, galvanized steel.

Picket Railings

Modern and sleek. More substance than cable railings and typically a great show piece in any remodel or new build.

Typical Finishes

Typical finishes are Powder Coat (Exterior or Interior), Blackened w/ Clear Coat (Interior Steel Only), Brushed (Aluminum or Stainless).
